The International Fermented Food Expo, a government-endorsed international event focused on fermentation, has taken place in Jeonju, Jeollabuk-do in October since 2003—as it presents fermented foods across the globe and spurs cultural exchange, thereby engaging in continuous improvement in the fermented food industry in Korea.
The Jeonbuk Institute for Food-Bioindustry is an R&D organization committed to resilient food infrastructure in Jeollabuk-do and a proud organizer of the International Fermented Food Expo. The 21st International Fermented Food Expo will help us work further for the field of food in Korea as well as the food sector emerge stronger from the COVID-19 crisis.
